They can’t stop Islam
Monday, November 19th, 2007Nearing the end of my evening, I’ve retired into my bedroom to do some web browsing and listening to some hot tunes. With the speakers cranked, I pulled up some of my favorite tracks and hit play. One such track is the song “They can’t stop Islam” by Soldiers of Allah. Feeling the powerful message this song represents, I decided to spread the word of Islam by posting some lyrics on a friend’s Facebook wall. I entered the following words of wisdom into the comments box:
This song is for all those sisters who wear Hijab, even though the people make fun of them. This song is for all those brothers who stand strong, even if it means they are left alone. This song is for all those who don’t compromise Islam, because they know Islam is the truth. No matter what happens, we will never give up. Brothers and sisters the revival of Islam is up to us.
Now, I’ve been using Facebook for quite some time now and do fully understand how to type words and click “Post.” What was different this time? A large red box popped up as my post was processing informing me that spam messages can result in my account being disabled. I thought about what I had just witnessed, trying to understand why Facebook is accusing me of spam. Did I click the post button only once? Yes. Did I mention penis enlargement solutions in my post? No. Did I mention something about Islam? OH MY GOD!
Thank you, Facebook, for assuming I am a spammer for mentioning one of the largest world religions in a wall post. On the day of judgement you face Allah, so what’s your excuse?
I’ll include a few more insightful lyric samples from select Soldiers of Allah tracks:
M-U-S-L-I-M, Muslim for life and we’ll never give in. We stand up and speak out against those who oppress. We take Islam an we take no less.
Keep my best friends Muslim so we’re always out of trouble.
Islam is the basis and the reference, not Madison, Jefferson, or the congress.
